Every year, nearly 600 kids from Codington County rely on Sanford Children's Hospital for lifesaving care. 100% of donations support services like child life, music therapy, patient assistance with lodging and mileage, state-of-the-art equipment and technology, on-site hospital teachers and so much more!

Adam's Story
Adam Kramer is one of many local children who rely on Sanford Children’s. Born at just 27 weeks, Adam spent his first 112 days in the Boekelhide Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Diagnosed with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus, Adam faced daunting challenges right from the start.
Through every complication — from brain bleeds to infections, surgeries and months on oxygen — Sanford Children’s surrounded him and his family with remarkable skill and compassion.
Today, Adam is a happy, spunky two-year-old who recently walked 100 feet in his gait trainer — progress once hard to imagine for his parents.
